Itinerary:
Saturday 23rd December
Arrive from 14.00 and make yourself at home in your book-themed guest room.
Welcome snack: We’ll welcome you with our pimp-your-own hot chocolate station and a festive snack.
Evening meal: a trip to Tam’s Kitchen, our local vegan café (cost not included).
After-dinner activity: a trip on the steam train of Lights (we have bought a batch of tickets for this – please confirm when you book whether you would like to go).
Sunday 24th Xmas eve
Breakfast together in the dining room then relax in your room or take a walk on the beach
Lunch: festive buffet or mezze platters
Activity suggestion: Babbacombe Model Village Xmas Scenes and Illuminations (optional activity, pre-book a ticket if you would like to go).
Dinner: A Fabulous Festive Four-Course Feast
After-dinner Activity: Jolabokaflod (book flood), an Icelandic tradition. On Xmas Eve; people give each other books and then spend the evening reading and eating chocolate. We can’t imagine a better way to celebrate! We will gift each guest a book and some of Phoenix’s homemade truffles, and set up our our pimp-your-own hot chocolate station for the evening.
Monday 25th December
Breakfast together and Secret Santa exchange of gifts (please bring a non-gendered gift worth up to £10 to take part).
Activity suggestion: Visit Berry Head Nature Reserve for a walk with a fabulous view (free).
Lunch: Traditional and contemporary Xmas feast
Activity suggestions: Napping, reading, or board games
Evening meal: light canapes, cheese board and sweet treats.
After-dinner activity suggestion: Visit Torquay’s Bay of Lights Illuminations along the seafront (a gentle, level walk – free)
Tuesday 26th December
Breakfast
Activity suggestion: Watch (or, if you feel brave, register and take part in) the Lions Club “Walk into the Sea” event in Paignton
Lunch festive Afternoon tea feast
Activity suggestion: Aladdin Panto at Palace theatre Paignton (optional activity, pre-book a ticket if you would like to go).
Dinner: Sweet and savoury tapas canapes with a quiz.
Wednesday 27th December
Breakfast
Activity suggestion: take a short walk to enjoy our local beach for the last time this visit.
Checkout by 12 with a packed lunch for your journey home.

Activities are all dog-friendly and accessible.
All meals are included apart from the dinner out on Saturday 23rd.
The Miggi is not licensed to serve alcohol but you are welcome to bring drinks to have with your meals.
